Full Day: Fabulous Halong Bay Tour with Taliya Cruise 5*
Halong Bay’s best moments come from the water, and this seven-hour cruise gives you several ways to enjoy it: a local bamboo boat through Dark and Bright Cave, kayaking and swimming in Ao Ech, and a slow sunset over the limestone islands. You also get lunch, a cooking demonstration, and time on a luxury boat rather than a basic day ferry.
I like the route’s variety. You are not simply sitting on deck taking photographs, and the move from Halong Bay toward quieter Lan Ha Bay gives the day a sense of discovery. I also like the swimming stop, since many bay cruises do not allow time in the water.
The main drawback is the long day from Hanoi. The road transfer can take about three hours each way, depending on traffic and the transport option, so the cruise itself is active but the full outing is tiring. Check the vessel name before booking, too: the experience is promoted as Taliya Cruise, while the provider information names Doria Cruise and some booking comments refer to Rosa Cruise.
